Menghitung Momen, Gaya Lintang Balok yang Ditumpu oleh Dua Tumpuan

Suatu Balok yang ditumpu oleh dua tumpuan yang panjangnya ( L = 10 meter ). Pada pertengahan balok bekerja gaya terpusat P = 5 t. Gambarlah bidang momen dan Gaya lintangnya.

Penyelesaian :

1. Carilah terlebih dahulu reaksi A dan B sebagai berikut :

∑MB = 0

RA.10 – P (5) = 0

RA.10 – 5 (5) = 0

RA . 10 = 25

RA = 25/10

RA = 2,5 ton

 

∑ V = 0

RA – P + RB = 0

2,5 – 5 + RB =0

-2,5 + RB = 0

RB = 2,5 ton

 

2.Menghitung Momen

MA = MB = 0 t.m

MC = RA.5

MC = 2,5 . (5)

MC = 12,5 t.m

 

3. Gaya Lintang

Pada titik A, bekerja RA, Maka DA = RA = 2,5 t

Dari A ke C tidak ada gaya maka nilai D sampai C adalah sama dengan DA.
